Title: Ambrosia Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

AMERICAN MEASUREMENTS
1cButter or margarine
1cPacked brown sugar
1/2cGranulated sugar
1tsVanilla
2 Eggs
2cUnbleached flour
1/2tsSalt
2tsBaking powder
2cQuick oats
12ozSemi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly. Stir in oats and chocolate chips, mix well.

Drop by tablespoons onto un-greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool one minute before removing from cookie sheet and placing cookies on cooling rack.

Makes 3 dozen cookies
